Join Us for a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Thursday, August 22!

The grand opening of the Milkman Lunch Company & Cake Shoppe will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting to be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday August 22. The business originally established by owners Chris Longeway and Chef Sam Rhame on Charlotte Street, has relocated and expanded into larger space at 250 E. High Street in downtown Pottstown.

Known for delicious lunches, specialty cakes, cupcakes, treats, and catering, the cafe and cake shop makes a great addition to the downtown. The new location is directly across the street from the Steel River Playhouse and a few doors down from community art school and gallery ArtFusion 19464.

Borough Council President Steve Toroney and Mayor Bonnie Heath have welcomed Milkman Lunch Company and Cake Shoppe to the downtown. “This business expansion is an important part of the ongoing revitalization of our downtown,” Toroney said. “The cafe and cake shop will serve residents, businesses, and visitors alike.” Heath agrees and said, “It is exciting to see a small, locally-owned business grow and experience success. The entire community benefits.”

Milkman Lunch Company & Cake Shoppe is open 11:00 am – 8:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Free parking is available on High Street and metered off-street parking is available in the municipal lot on the corner of High and Charlotte Streets. For directions, questions, or cake and catering consultations, call (484) 300-4488.
