Tompkins VIST Bank will celebrate the opening of its new Pottstown branch at 258 East High Street with a ribbon cutting at 9 am on July 28 and a two-day celebration at the branch and nearby Municipal Pavilion from 11 am to 4 pm on July 28 and 29.
The 2,254-square-foot location features bank offices and customer service areas for the convenience of clients, as well as an office for Tompkins Insurance. The branch provides a full range of loan, deposit and other consumer and business services.
The opening celebration will include a visit from Reading Fightin Phils mascot, Screwball (July 28 from noon to 3); a prize wheel with gifts and giveaways; a local artist to do caricatures of guests; and refreshments.
