February 1, 2024, Pottstown – Pottstown Area Economic Development (PAED) is pleased to announce the latest project by Rockwell Development Group in the Borough of Pottstown. Less than one week after zoning approval, rehabilitation construction began at 269 and 305 High Street at the intersection of Charlotte Street. Most recently these buildings were home to Lastick Furniture, and now will be reimagined into market rate apartments and commercial space.
This project is led by Greg Lingo, President, Rockwell Development Group, who has completed several other significant multi-million-dollar projects in the Borough. Rockwell’s Pottstown portfolio includes the Hanover Square townhouses and commercial space, the fully leased apartments in the former shirt factory at Cherry and Charlotte Streets, and a collection of renovated homes on Laurel Street. Pottstown’s historical buildings are far too complex for novices to attempt and have success. Projects such as these require professional, responsible developers with diverse experience.
“PAED is happy to support Greg Lingo and Rockwell Development Group in this project, and others. This is one more vital piece towards completion of the revitalizing of a once vibrant downtown into a new living experience and destination, “ shared Peggy Lee-Clark, Executive Director, Pottstown Area Economic Development.
“I have had the absolute pleasure of working with PAED on our commercial and residential investments in the Pottstown Borough. PAED helps to simplify a daunting process. They help us focus our vision to save time and ultimately produce what is best, not only for economic development, but for the Pottstown community as a whole. PAED turns common sense into action, ” shared Greg Lingo, Rockwell Development Group.
