Pottstown, PA, April 20, 2022 – Pottstown Area Economic Development and Hobart’s Run are thrilled to announce the immensely popular “Party in White” will return to Pottstown for its fifth year on Friday, Sept. 9, from 6 to 9 p.m., rain or shine (bring a clear or white rain poncho, just in case!).
Due to the popularity of this inclusive community-centered event featuring local food and live music, planners obtained the Borough of Pottstown’s permission to expand seating to 750 from 2021’s limit of 500 guests.
This everybody-wears-all-white, outdoor, last-hurrah-of-summer party will light up Smith Family Plaza at Pottstown Borough Hall, 150 E. High St. The beautiful event is an eclectic and enthusiastic gathering of local residents, businesses, and visitors eager to celebrate and support Pottstown’s revitalization.
We are seeking sponsors to support this well-attended event. Opportunities include $5,000, $1,000, $500, and $250 level sponsorships. Our generous contributors will receive recognitions and complimentary ticket reservations appropriate to each level (sponsorship registration and details at feteenblancpottstown.com). All sponsors will be honored for their roles at the Fete en Blanc celebration. Sponsorships should be received by May 31, and will be accepted after that date, based on availability.
Individuals interested in attending may register beginning June 1 on the Pottstown Fete en Blanc website: feteenblancpottstown.com. Registrants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Each registrant will be charged a nominal fee of $10 per person, capped this year at 6 persons per registrant, to help cover essential costs for necessities such as table and chair rentals, security measures, and restroom facilities (please note admission does not include food or beverage.
Local participating restauranteurs will accept food pre-purchase orders (and, as always, guests may bring their own BYOB picnic dinners). Please visit the feteenblancpottstown.com website and follow PAED & Hobart’s Run’ social media for the restaurant list, pre-ordering information and other Fete en Blanc announcements and updates.
As we emerge from the pandemic, please note guests may be seated near people from outside their household or group of friends. Guests who wish to wear masks regardless of their vaccination status are welcome to do so – but, if you do, please wear white or clear masks to complement the theme and ambiance of the evening.
Organizers kindly ask registrants who cannot attend to transfer their ticket(s) to a friend, family, or neighbor and contact pottstownfete@gmail.com immediately to release the seats. No refunds will be available to registrants who are unable to attend.
