POTTSTOWN, PA March 12, 2025 – Pottstown Area Economic Development (PAED) is pleased to announce three new Members to its Board of Directors, welcoming Rosann Bar, Ph. D., Dean of Academic Innovation, Montgomery County Community College; Lisa Karl, Vice President of Sales & Strategic Partnerships, Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board; and Eric Miller, Commercial Loan Officer, Peoples Security & Trust Bank.
Rosann Bar received her Ph.D. in sociology from Columbia University in NYC, and as Chair of the department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Caldwell University, in New Jesey taught Sociology and Anthropology for nearly 20 years. She educated students in culture and social life by designing multiple travel abroad seminars to various destinations around the world. A Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Bar was the Dean of the School of Business and Social Sciences at Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ before assuming the position of Dean of Academic Innovation at Montgomery County Community College.
A graduate of Temple University and Disney’s College Program, Lisa brings her extensive background in hospitality to the role working at hotel properties throughout Southeastern & Central Pennsylvania. She currently serves as the Vice President of Sales & Strategic Partnerships at Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board, where she leads efforts in sports, conventions, and global tourism. Currently Lisa serves on the West Pikeland Township Conservation Land Trust Board and volunteers with Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy.
Eric Miller is a seasoned Commercial Loan Officer at Peoples Security Bank & Trust, bringing over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Eric has developed a strong foundation in customer service and risk analysis, working closely with clients across diverse industries, including real estate development, logistics, agriculture, professional services, and manufacturing. A graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College.
