In 2015, the company completed a $4.2 million expansion project that included the acquisition and renovation of the adjacent property at 824 Queen Street. The project increased total manufacturing space to 70,000 square feet and created an additional 17,000 square feet of warehouse. The investment provides both increased capacity and improved work flow. Inspection, washing, and packaging operations are housed in the new building. The original plant also underwent substantial renovations including construction of a class 100,000 clean room environment to support manufacturing of medical device components.
Manufacturing operations run 24/7. The company currently employs 167 full-time and expects to grow its workforce as a result of this capital investment.
Precision Polymer Products focuses on the production of high quality rubber components and is ISO registered. The manufacturer works closely with product design engineers, allowing the company to carry the product from concept through prototyping and into an efficient production system.
