The property at 525 E. High Street has served Pottstown and the automotive industry for a century.
Initially home to a Moon Motor Car dealership, followed by Studebaker, and eventually a Chevrolet dealership, current owner Mike Yannessa purchased and extensively renovated the 18,800 square foot building in 2013 to relocate and expand Wheels in Motion.
Although Wheels in Motion was established in 2000, the increased visibility provided by the new downtown location allowed the business to more than double revenues in its first year on High Street where the company currently employs 8.
Wheels in Motion offers general repair and Pennsylvania state inspection services for all makes and models ““ both new and older vehicles. The company provides collision repair, frame and unibody repair, insurance work, full body, paint, and detailing. In addition, Mike and his team are widely known for antique, classic and muscle car restorations.
