The provider of urgent and primary care services has developed a new building at 119 Shoemaker Road, a welcome addition to the Borough’s western gateway at Route 100 and King Street.
Patient First is staffed by board-certified physicians, as well as physician assistants, registered nurses, lab and x-ray technologists, medical assistants, and front office personnel. Staff levels are adjusted according to patient volume. A typical center employs between 40 and 60 people.
The Pottstown facility opens Wednesday, February 19 offering convenient, cost-effective medical care on a walk-in basis. The new center is open 8 am to 10 pm, 365 day a year.

The Annual Report highlights how businesses quickly adapted their models so they could continue to operate amidst shutdowns, and tells the story of the generosity and community-oriented spirit of the business community when they jumped into action to support members of the Pottstown community who were facing hardships as a result of the pandemic.
The report also features a timeline of the past 10 years in Pottstown, highlighting major projects and advancements in the Borough and milestones for PAID. New Pottstown businesses are featured, as well as several large redevelopment projects that received funding in 2020.
