Pottstown, PA, November 8, 2021
Pottstown Area Industrial Development (PAID), Inc. has re-branded as Pottstown Area Economic Development, as it steps into the future with new businesses, new investors and a renewed sense of energy and focus on Pottstown’s possibilities.
POTTSTOWN, PA – November 8, 2021 – Pottstown Area Economic Development (PAED), Inc., formerly known as Pottstown Area Industrial Development (PAID) is proud to announce a rebrand and introduce a new website. As the lead economic development organization for Pottstown since 1965, PAID, now PAED, is poised to continue its mission to develop, coordinate, and implement an overall economic development strategy for the Borough of Pottstown, as it emerges with its potential for the future. This rebrand is just the beginning of a robust outreach initiative.
As Peggy Lee-Clark, PAED’s Executive Director, shares, “This rebrand, and the shift from the “I” for Industrial to the “E” for economic is symbolic for Pottstown. It is a reflection of where we have been, and where we are going. It is a combination of the revitalization and growth Pottstown has been experiencing over the past several years, with a commitment to the future through innovation and a re-imagining of an economic hub in western Montgomery County. With the leadership of a dedicated Board of Directors, the support of local businesses and organizations, and by engaging with other economic development partners throughout the County, Region, and State, PAED is stepping into the future with new businesses, new investors, and this new brand. With a renewed sense of energy, we are focused on all the possibilities in front of Pottstown.”
PAED will continue to leverage the I Pick Pottstown campaign to create awareness of Pottstown’s assets and attract new businesses to the Borough. With its new website, ipickpottstown.org, PAED’s audience will expand throughout the region. The website represents an intentional blend of the former PAIDinc.org website, with the IPickPottstown.com website, bringing together the resources that investors, business owners and key stakeholders need, while simultaneously engaging established businesses and visitors, and telling Pottstown’s success stories of progress in a powerful and meaningful way. From strategic planning, a focus on infrastructure, sustainability, innovation, education, and technology, to hospitality, and tourism, PAED is engaging all aspects of promoting Pottstown as an ideal urban center to live, learn, work and visit.
Pottstown Area Economic Development, Inc. (PAED) is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation originally formed in 1965 as Pottstown Area Industrial Development, Inc.
