POTTSTOWN, PA September 18, 2025 – “Pottstown Area Economic Development is grateful to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Financing Authority for this investment from the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development DCED – LSA program, which provides an opportunity to accelerate Pottstown’s revitalization efforts in our downtown,” said Peggy Lee-Clark, Executive Director of Pottstown Area Economic Development, which received a grant for its Borough Of Pottstown Downtown Streetscape Plan. “In addition, we are humbled by the confidence in Pottstown and PAED demonstrated on a regular basis by our state elected officials, Rep. Joe Ciresi and Senator Tracy Pennycuick. The funds will be used to help develop a comprehensive plan to improve Pottstown’s streetscape, including strategies to beautify vacant storefronts, design outdoor areas for recreation and social gatherings, and give the walking corridor a safe and welcoming atmosphere.”..
